The surfaces should be washed with isopropyl alcohol and wiped the cleaned surface with a wipe. This square has two paper livers on its front and back.
Pull out the paper liner off one side of the square and paste the disclosed side to the back of the acoustic foam panel. Paste the adhesive square to every corner on the back of the panel and through its outside edges.
Use two adhesive squares for a 1-inch panel. Remove the other paper liver at the adhesive square. Grasp the acoustic foam panels and place them on the spot you have spotted for hanging. Firmly press on it for around 30 seconds. Cover all the desired surfaces. Adhesive spray or adhesive square can damage the walls or ceilings, especially if the room or the studio is a rental.
Without damaging walls, the best option is 3M Command strips. These strips peel off using a single thick cardboard or plywood board with adhesive to install acoustic foam without damaging walls.
